A consortium known as International Leisure Development has just signed an agreement with the government of Aragon. They will construct an entertainment city dubbed 'Gran Scala' in the Los Monegros desert of northeast Spain. The developers will provide 25 billion dollars for the construction of this complex. It will consist of:
- Conference centers
- Concert halls
- Horse racing
- Golf course
- Casinos
- Hotels
'Gran Scala' will be the largest gaming and leisure complex in Europe. This Spanish 'Vegas' will generate employment for 65 thousand people and cater to 25 million visitors each year. Construction begins in 2008. Spain is still an excellent investment location. For the buyer who wants to own an asset property for the future, Spain continues to move ahead.
